Sir Andrew Steer Supports Impact Job Days 2026
Sir Andrew Steer KCMG, PhD is a Distinguished Professor of Practice at both Georgetown University (Washington DC, USA) and the London School of Economics (UK).
From 2021-2025, he was President and CEO of the Bezos Earth Fund. The Bezos Earth Fund is Jeff Bezos's $10 billion commitment to fund scientists, activists, NGOs, and other actors that will drive climate and nature solutions.
Previously, Sir Andrew Steer was President and CEO of the World Resources Institute for eight years, he served as the World Bank’s Special Envoy for Climate Change from 2010 to 2012, and as Director General at the UK Department of International Development from 2007 to 2010.
In 2024, he was named by Forbes as one of the world’s 50 most impactful climate leaders.

I'm Icha Kakuni. I live in Kisangani in the DR Congo.
In 2023, I participated for the first time to Impact Job Days. I was in my final year at the university, I was studying agronomy.
At the event, I got a serious preparation for entering the labour market, particularly for searching for career opportunities in an efficient way.
In the picture, I was participating to a hackathon : It was such a great experience!
In 2025, I work at a large agrifood company in my hometown. Yet, I have participated again to Impact Job Days.
Why?
I wanted to help organize the event. So I have served in the Coordination Team. This has enabled me to have a concrete impact for the young professionals developing their employability.
Also on the platform, I have received coaching with HR experts. This will be very useful to me in the projects I am working on for my employer.
